Work Coach roles – new vacancies!

DWP and local Jobcentres have launch a second wave of nationwide Work Coach recruitment, with roles available in different cities and regions across the country.

Over the next weeks you’ll see vacancies go live in different locations, so if you’re passionate about customer service and want a rewarding career that makes a difference to people’s lives, then we want to hear from you.

Being a jobcentre Work Coach is more than a job

As a jobcentre Work Coach you will support people into work in these difficult times. You’ll help people identify their key job skills, improve their CV, perfect their interview technique and gain better job seeking skills. Plus you’ll develop an in-depth knowledge of local employment opportunities to help them get the right post.

You’ll use your judgement to help people through some challenging times in their lives, and your tailored coaching will make a huge difference to their ability to find, stay in, and progress in a job.

You’ll be part of a network of nationwide Jobcentre Plus staff where no two days are the same. You can join a team that will support you as well as our customers, forge new friendships with DWP colleagues and have the chance to shine in a role that really can make a difference to the community.

Any Work Coach will tell you just how rewarding their job is. Helping someone back into work is really fulfilling and knowing the positive difference you’ve made to someone’s life is a real boost.
