You local job centre is hiring

Work Coach roles –  new vacancies coming soon!

DWP and local jobcentres have launched a nationwide Work Coach recruitment drive with roles available in different cities and regions across the country.

Having completed the first wave of advertised vacancies, from November 9th you’ll see new vacancies go live in different locations, so if you’re passionate about customer service and want a rewarding career that makes a difference to people’s lives, then we want to hear from you.

Being a jobcentre Work Coach is more than a job

As a Work Coach you will get the chance to play your part in helping customers to find work. You’ll be part of a key network of nationwide Jobcentre Plus staff where no two days are the same. You can join a team that will support you as well as our customers, forge new friendships with DWP colleagues and have the chance to shine in a role that really can make a difference to the community.

DWP is a flexible employer adapting at pace to the restrictions presented through COVID-19. We help our staff balance work, home life and support their wellbeing. The role of a Work Coach is adapting to this new world; we’re balancing the need to see customers face to face in a jobcentre, working in our partner’s premises and operating virtually.

We are a fair and inclusive employer and welcome applications for our Work Coach roles to help us reflect the citizens we serve.
