This year may feel really different for people receiving their exam results, so the National Careers Service have set up a special helpline to help young people (and their parents or carers) work through their next steps.
The helpline has professional careers advisers available to provide free, impartial advice and guidance on the different choices available. They can help with:
- Advice about careers
- Re-sits or re-takes
- Continuing education – like studying at a university or college
- Different ways to learn – like Apprenticeships, Traineeships and NVQs
- Getting a job or setting up in business
You can speak to a dedicated careers adviser by calling 0800 100 900 or using the their webchat (external website).
You’ll also find lots of advice at the National Careers Service website (external website) where you can research careers and compare your options for the future.
